About Precision Applications
Precision Applications is a veteran owned MTT (mobile training team) serving Law Enforcement and Military Snipers in Michigan and surrounding States. It is owned and operated by Dan Rilett and Bob Corby.
Our inspiration and unique approach
We are deeply passionate about providing high-quality instruction to law enforcement and military snipers. Our goal is to increase their skill level, ensuring they understand not only their capabilities, but limitations as well. We embrace different media during the instructional process to support a rich learning environment.
Core beliefs
Our core beliefs revolve around delivering high-quality instruction with three underlying principals.
1) Fundamentally sound - Shooting starts at the shooter, where breaking consistent and fundamentally sound shots allows the shooter to focus on other elements of critical incidents.
2) Data driven - We take the mystery and voodoo out of the trade by providing a data based approach.
3) Process driven - We believe processes ensure no step is missed in the application of precision fires. From building a position, to applying the fundamentals, having processes ensures higher success.
Our customers benefit from instruction that builds a strong foundation, leading to consistent accuracy and improved performance in critical situations.
Who we serve and how we help
Precision Applications serves both new and experienced LE/MIL snipers. For the new sniper, we help embed foundational skills that are typically short changed in shorter basic sniper schools. These foundational skills lay the bedrock for a successful career. For the experienced sniper, we reinforce prior learning while providing up-to-date techniques to further hone their craft. We address the critical need for continuous improvement and adaptability in demanding environments.
